Very well said, Karen. I wholeheartedly agree with you! The Anglican Church needs to be inclusive. Reconciliation with love is needed in our world today.

Although I agree it is wise to make haste slowly, I believe the time has come for us to accept gay marriage in the church and move on to the far more pressing issues of our time. At one time, we didn’t ordain women. That changed, for the better. At one time the Church endorsed slavery. That changed, for the better. If we truly believe that God is Love and that we are all children of God, then we need to stop putting up obstacles to people who love each other and work on spreading all manner of love, compassion, healing and help to the very many people in desperate need.
