We, too, sat in the front pew for the same reasons as you. At my current church, parents are told not to “shush” their children. They may play at the back of the church, but all come running to “breadtime ” and know the story well!
Thank you for your article. I will be asking that we print the sheet containing how children should be treated and have them in our pews!

My 2 Year Old has been coming to church (and sitting with us) since birth, he could probably tell you more about the service then most adults! I more importantly, he enjoys and looks forward to church every week!
