This is a wonderful article. I admire Lydia and Wian’s vision and their commitment and patience to accomplish it. I grew up on the other side of Rock Lake from them and love that part of the prairies. Well done!

Bravo for choosing a life which illustrates how working "with" the earth can be successful and fullfilling. It demands that one adjust their definition of success, and that is not an easy choice to make. I appreciate that you bring to the table both the understanding of the science of ecology based agriculture, and the ability to communicate the importance of living in harmony with natural processes. I wish you much success in proving to a new generation that our grandparents knew a thing or two about a thing or two!
