February Magazine 2022

This February, we’re turning an eye to the poets. How does poetry feed the soul(s) of the Church?

Hannah Foulger opens with a tribute to the American poet-witness Carolyn Forché. Hannah is the new RLN Reporter/Writer at Large, and we’re thrilled to welcome her to the RLN team. Look out for more contributions from Hannah in our upcoming issues!

We’re also featuring interviews with two well-respected Anglican poets hailing from opposite sides of the globe: Winnipeg-based poet Joanne Epp and the English poet-priest Malcolm Guite.

Many of you are no stranger to another poet featured in this issue: Kyla Neufeld, the former RLN Editor, graces our
pages with three of her poems for communion.

On the final page of our issue, Bishop Geoffrey Woodcroft introduces a diocesan-wide Lenten Study of Pope Francis’s Laudato Si’ on Care for Our Common Home.

February’s cover features original art by Haeon Grace Kang.
