Golden Jubilee for Four Rupert’s Landers

On Trinity Sunday, May 31, 2015, David Pate, Peter Flynn, David Jackson, and Duncan Wallace celebrated the 50th anniversary of their ordination to the priesthood at St. John’s Cathedral. The four men were ordained priests together on June 13, 1965, the entire theological class of St. John`s College that year.
Unfortunately, Rev. Wallace wasn’t able to join his classmates for the celebration due to an unexpected turn in his health. It was a joyous occasion with their three greatest supporters in attendance: Ruth Jackson, Judith Flynn, and Lynn Pate.
The dean, Paul Johnson, pointed out that together these men represent 200 years of service to the Church in many different roles. Thank you, David, Peter, Duncan, and David for your commitment to teaching the faith and your loving care for so many over the past fifty years. Congratulations to each of you!
