Wanted: Church Office Administrator
St. Aidan’s Anglican Church is seeking an Office Administrator to cover an extended maternity/parental leave (76 weeks). Position is 35 hours per week. Part time paid training hours in March 2018, full time hours begin April 9, 2018.
Responsibilities include serving in the Church Office as receptionist, preparing and distributing the weekly bulletin, service rosters and other schedules, performing regular website maintenance, preparing cheque requests for payment and filing. The successful candidate will also be responsible to maintain the monthly church calendar, monitor users of the church building, and serve as executive assistant to the Incumbent.
Skills desired: friendly, warm personality; strong oral, written, and typed communication; proficient in Microsoft Publisher, Word, Powerpoint, and Excel; ability to work alone and in collaboration with others; an eye for design; good organization. Respecting confidential and private information is a must.
